Nikon vs Canon

I suppose I need to give my stance on the Nikon vs Canon debate. Well, it seems to me that it really doesn't matter which you pick; both are world-leading camera makers with a great reputation and if one were really that much better than the other, then the other wouldn't have market share. I choose Nikon because the control layout and terminology was similar to the Fujifilm camera, and because I knew someone who had one - so I'd already had a good play with the camera, and could potentially blag lenses from a mate in future. Now I have Nikon, I've got some Nikon-specific lenses and accessories, so I'll probably stay with Nikon. What you choose to do is really up to you.
